Present a demand forecasting and management technique, based on the use of AMR and consumer information technologies. The automatically recorded information can be used to analyze consumption patterns quickly; furthermore the householder can be informed through a smart phone application and can be encouraged to change his habits.

Combine strategic operational control, network monitoring and demand forecasting management modules to an integrated software solution that serves as a decision-support tool.
ORIENTATION TO CITIZENS: PROSUMERS
Develop new strategies for a bidirectional communication with consumers to make an impact in their water usage by the use of new technologies such as EFFINET Smart Application and the update of major indicators about household consumption and energy use.
DIRECT IMPLEMENTATION OF NOVEL TECHNOLOGIES ON SITE
Implement real-life demonstrations in Barcelona and Lemesos, to provide functional exemplification of the generality of the integrated software solution, linked with the SCADA at both sites. (Each site will focus on some specific functionality, according to the priorities of local utilities: operational control and demand management functionalities will be the object of the Barcelona pilot, while the Lemesos pilot will focus on demonstrating the functionality of real-time network monitoring.)
